Church Mission Engagement
The Church’s concern for development is an amalgam of both social and theological attributes. The development we are concerned with is centered on the creative and redemptive purpose of God for all human kind where people can live in peace and righteousness with each other and with all creation.
The Church- Mission Engagement (CME) is the energizing force to integrate the mission agenda of the Church and the rights based approach to be in solidarity with the poor. CME aims to prepare the Church/ Local congregation to take forward this mission by effectively integrating itself with the plight of the powerless, and restore their human dignity. It further envisages that congregations will develop and implement programs of their own to address human development and empowerment needs of Dalit, Tribal, women and children.
